Mobilizations to get rid of SI joint pain

Chronic SI joint pain is no fun, so here are some techniques to try to realign the pelvis and get rid of the pain. Before we get to the topic at hand, I want to announce that my long awaited nutrition course entitled “Why the Food Guides are Wrong: How to Find Health and Lose Weight”, [...]

How many ways can you get up off the floor?

Wellness Tips - your guide to optimal health. Maximize your health and wellbeing through your daily choices by reading these wellness tips. In order to be sure you do not miss any tips, subscribe for free, and get a tip delivered weekly to your e-mail inbox.

The information on this site and in any consulting process is for educational purposes only and is not meant to treat any particular medical condition or disease. If you have a specific health concern, please see your doctor.

The Wellness Tips are organized according to the Foundational Wellness Principles, listed on the left sidebar. Mostly, wellness is about choices - make poor choices and over time the result is illness. Make good choices, and over time the result is vibrant health. Often good choices don't take any more time than poor choices - it is simply knowing what to choose.

The Foundational Wellness Principles are based on the fact that we must follow the laws of nature in order to remain healthy – an idea which may seem simplistic on the surface, but today these Principles are surprisingly challenging to live by, in our current world of artificial, fake, processed food, artificial light, toxin exposure, inadequate or inappropriate exercise, and too much stress. Control your lifestyle as best as possible, and control your health.

I’ve included a section called “health issues”, which covers topics like heart disease, osteoporosis, adrenal fatigue, various hormone functions etc. that don’t fit under the Wellness Principles, even though following the Principles is what is needed in order to resolve the health issues.

Also there is a large reference section based mostly on the recommended readings from the CHEK Holistic Lifestyle Consultant (HLC) course, although I have added others to the list that I think are worthwhile. So, if you are planning to take or have taken that course, here is a one-stop shop for those books. And if you are not planning on taking this course, but are interested in learning more about a particular health topic, choosing from these books will get you going in the right direction.
